I had a 4 inch memory foam mattress, I cut down to fit the lower bunk, for more cushion. Then used the left over length piece and we cut it down to fit the seat bottoms that helped. And sure helped on the lower bunk for sleeping too.....Then, the left over rectangle piece I put it at the head of the bunk to fill the void, so my damn pillows wouldn't fall into that void hahaha
Drew, one possibility is to go to an upholsterer and see if they can make a custom seat cushion for you. They would probably know what type of foam to use inside, what density, etc. They would probably even know what cover fabric or material would be best for your issue.
My biggest problem in my mack is it feels like over time I lose air in my seat so after a few hours I feel like I’m shrinking lol. Plus my ass slides and everything bunches up down there. I’m 6’3 so there’s no moving my seat other than up and down. I also like my windows open so I kind of lean to my left sometimes and it tweaks my back plus dealing with stiff container doors lol
dealing with stiff container doors lol
Try being 5'4" and having to open or shut those crappy, corroded doors. My company bought me a handy tool that helps open or close the doors about 98% of the time. However all the door handles are above my head still.
