You should only have to take the hazmat test. You will have to get pre clearance through TSA. Check with your state office. Some require the clearance before you take the test and some let you test and issue after getting the clearance.

Yeah, this is all 'new' since 02/07/2022 .... with the new ELDT's ... interesting as I'm learning, too!
Apparently, it IS state specific... here's the link: ELDT HazMat Online Courses, per state.
If you passed all the rest, you'll be okay . . . if your background is, of course.

I got my cdl 02/20. Last week I added my tanker & doubles endorsements. I am looking into getting the hazmat endorsement now, does anyone know if I have to retake all tests in order to get the endorsement?

Doubles:
Refers to pulling two trailers at the same time, otherwise known as "pups" or "pup trailers" because they're only about 28 feet long. However there are some states that allow doubles that are each 48 feet in length.
