I'm currently sitting in Chicago Heights at another shipper that apparently was surprised I was here to get loaded. I may be here all night.
Shipper:
The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.
Gotcha. I’m picking up a tanker in Fort Wayne tonight from Naperville. I’ll be rolling through around 130 am probably.
I finally started loading about an hour ago. My destination tonight will be the Portage, WI Petro.
I'm parked in Riverdale, IL for the night. Another sketchy looking neighborhood.
Yeah Riverdale is sketch. I’m at the oasis off of 294 in South Holland at the moment getting fuel. Heading out to Fort Wayne area again for a reefer this time.

The city of Chicago, not counting the Chicagoland area is made up of 77 community areas as it is called. Riverdale is one of them. Just like englewood, back of the yards, Lincoln park etc.

But I LOVE "Linkin Park" !! LoLoL.. the band, of course.
Gotcha, though. When we delivered to Donna at Schaumburg's Marina, we'd head over to Nick's Fishmarket in Rosemont. I know, it's since closed. Gawsh, I loved that restaurant!! Those HUGE booths, with surrounding fish tanks; the food....the blackened Red Snapper, omigosh!!
I've never even WATCHED Riverdale; just see it on the guide. I'm not into fictional shows, either.
