Greetings! I operate a non-commercial class 8 truck which is used to haul my race car operations. The truck and trailer combined weigh 44,000 pounds. I am looking to purchase an in cab receiver/sensor that will work with WIM systems. Due to our weight being substantially under the 80,000 most trucks weigh, I should be able to avoid stopping at the majority weigh stations. I have attempted to find these units on the internet but thus far been unsuccessful and not sure who manufactures them. Any information greatly appreciated

Welcome Steve!!

I run drivewyze it’s an app you can put on a phone or tablet. Cost for 1 unit is 18.00 a month. Prepass is another system but that is a windshield mount unit. I don’t know the cost.

I’ve run drivewyze for almost 5 years and never have had an issue.

Good luck with the racer. I’m an old dirt tracker from back in the day!
