I ran EB across 70 and ran into snow halfway down the mountain going over Vail. Part way down that mountain it turned to rain and stayed raining until about 1 mi from the tunnels on Eisenhower. Came down the eastbound side and ran in wet slushy snow for about 5 miles. It was clear when I hit Denver and dropped my container. Now it's time to hit the bunk.

Exactly why I always hated running the I-80 during winter, lost track of how many times, with CRST we got stuck in Wyoming from bad snows. Probably at least 4 times, anywhere from 3-4 days to a week+ plus the added winds with that snow stuff ! DON'T miss any of that lol Snow is pretty to look at, from FAR AWAY I always said at home in Calif. on the slopes all around us in Hesperia, atop Cajon Pass

Be safe on them roads ya'll !! I feel ya

Winter, indeed! Let this be a reminder to everyone to load up the winter gear and supplies if you have not already done so!

Who remembers the meaning of “A three dog night”? And how did that phrase become famous? (Trivia question of the day)
