Are you talking about one that you pull or one that you drive?
My baby brother has had motorhomes in the past but now has a fifth wheel three axle one that he pulls behind his pickup. Let me ask him if he ever thought about it.

It probably would not put out enough power. The electrical draw would be more than it could handle. I had a 30’ motorhome years ago and it had a 5k onan generator to run it.

I’m just asking about this because I have a used APU available for free, so of course my mind is exploring the possibilities for using it.

Could a used ThermoKing APU be used externally to heat and cool and power lights (charge battery and power an inverter) in a Recreational Vehicle?
Has any one heard of repurposing an APU to another vehicle to do the same function that it does on a sleeper compartment truck?
