1/ Before you pull up be sure you'll fit.

2/ Tell the operator the type of rig you have so they can direct you.

3/ ...

4/ Profit.

Is that right! I guess when they ask me for my truck number when I push the button I'll start telling them I have a 53" Refrigerated Trailer with a Kenworth T700 Sleeper. Oh and I forgot to do step #1 so I guess I'll have to also make sure to pull up next to the scale and see if it fits then swing back around and pull on.

Oh man.. I sure hope I can do it right!

I was attempting a bit of "Sarcasm" with my state from above.

The hardest part for me the first time was understanding the question that the "weigher" was asking over the blaring, static-ie speaker: "first weigh or re-weigh"? it sounded something like: "jus' #@%&! or wrayyahhhhh"! and, also, the phrase when finished: "pull around and park, your ticket is inside." it was more of the same blaring, static filled, thick southern accented, noise. lol, one time, while walking across a parking lot toward the building, I noticed an old guy parked on the CAT scale. he was in big dodge dually pulling one of largest 5th wheel RV's I've ever seen. inside the TS, the gal was telling him to "pull off and park and come inside," but he wouldn't move on, because he wasn't understanding her. I went back out there to tell him what to do. By that time, his wife was half way to the building to find out what in the world the gal was telling them to do. her comment, "they need to teach these people how to talk plainly!"
