It's an unfortunate truth. There will always be users and those that want to be used. And unfortunately the boys and girls that sell themselves in truck stops will always find those willing to use them. I mentioned both cause I have seen kids, might be as young as 13 or 14 boys and girls, being passed from truck to truck in certain areas of the country. It not as bad as it used to be but it still happens from time to time.

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Well, this subject got a little... "Dark" How about a funny story from your truck stop time? I understand the stress of everything, parking, sleep deprivation, what's your favorite part? What have you found to be enjoyable?

Hey red i guess the security guy i talked to left out a few details. Guess he was spot on about the surrounding area though. Thanks for the insight. I may choose a different spot next time. The worst ts's i have personally been too area in Birmingham Al and west memphis Ar. Totally disgusting.

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

Sorry if this thread turned dark but rather you know the realities now rather then be shocked later on.

Best or favorite parts of truck stops? Not having to go to them except for fuel and showers and when I leave them.
