Most if not all companies require at least 1 year drivers licenses and I had my license suspended from 2000 to 2008 and again in 2010 to 2012 and I went to central refrigerated in April of this year and got my cdl and a job with them also had a DUI in 2001 so yeah you should be OK as long as you hold/held that license for a full year

Company-sponsored Training:

A Company-Sponsored Training Program is a school that is owned and operated by a trucking company.

The schooling often requires little or no money up front. Instead of paying up-front tuition you will sign an agreement to work for the company for a specified amount of time after graduation, usually around a year, at a slightly lower rate of pay in order to pay for the training.

If you choose to quit working for the company before your year is up, they will normally require you to pay back a prorated amount of money for the schooling. The amount you pay back will be comparable to what you would have paid if you went to an independently owned school.

Company-sponsored training can be an excellent way to get your career underway if you can't afford the tuition up front for private schooling.

Yep, every company I've called wanted 1 year full license, no interruption. So, it doesn't really matter how 'minor' it is. I missed 1 month of child support :( and BAM! Suspended for only about 2 weeks. So, CRST, Prime, etc etc, all told me I had to wait until a full year has passed from that very date. I'm in the clear now, but yeah - seems like whatever it is, you need that 1 full year!

Hey Brian, When I talked to Swift they told me as long as my husband has had his license for a year within his lifetime then he was straight. It depends on what it is too. When I talked to Knight they said 6months -1yr.
