The Grand Island Bridges are insane. Seriously, those are two of the sketchiest bridges you'll find anywhere. They're waaaay too narrow and way too steep. I'm assuming they were built that way for big ships to cross under but man, they should've found a better idea.

During the Blizzard of '77 I was 6 years old. I remember watching my dad shoveling a family out of their second story window. I was standing eye level with the traffic light on the corner. They say this last blizzard was worse in some ways than in '77 but I haven't found anyone that agrees with that. Nothing compares to '77.

During that storm, I was over in England at an RAF base. Even there they got snow. If you think American's can't drive in snow, you should see the Brit's.

Well now I definitely feel old...lol. You're right.....this last storm was bad in the snow band areas. But the Blizzard of 77 covered everyone and still takes the cake as the storm of storms in Buffalo.

Well unfortunately Brett our route takes us from Seneca, to Aurora, then on to Warsaw and there's no way around that. I barely made it though. I Passed by a Conway freight truck that slid into the ditch. In Hein sight I'm pretty sure i should've parked it but i took it slow and made it safely. I'll be down that way again next week, hopefully I get better luck weather wise.

It would be awesome to meet you if you or I had time..

Must suck for you Brett. You just spent a fortune on a hot rod engine but you can't drive it!

It's at the shop getting the engine put in it as we speak. I should have it back sometime next week I'm guessing but there's going to be months worth of work to do yet. I'll get to drive it from time to time this winter but come spring time it should be ready to go!

Give me a shout when you know you'll be in the area. It's hard for me to get away because I raise animals and have a lot going on with this website but if I can get away I will.

Well Brett my schedule brings back there next Wednesday and thursday. Between deliveries and my HOS the only time I have available on that run will be when I get to my hotel around 3:00pm. Of course when I get there I will have no transportation. Not sure how far you are from south buffalo but that's where I'll be that Wednesday night.
