Just needed to get some feed back from everyone on when on the road for weeks on end,in this day and age,do drivers do bill pay or if they are single, have the post office hold the mail till they get home? I know of people that have used bill pay for years, and others say they prefer to do it the old way, mail it. So, i just had to ask. Something that i was curious about and just wanted to see. Thanks,Gary

I have been paying my bills online for years, even before I got in to trucking. I hate the paper receiving bills in the mail causes because it turns in to clutter, not to mention the trees it saves. I will be on a 5 out home 2 scheduled so I can pay them when I am home using a secured server, but if I was going to be out and needed to pay them them, I would just use the Wi-Fi hotspot that is on my phone because it is secure too.

Like Jolie, I've used online bill pay for years. Very few payments I ever mail.

I've always used automatic bill pay. When I started driving in '93 there was none of what you kids refer to as "the internets". But there were ways to pay your bills automatically. All you had to do was pick up the rotary phone and call Ma Bell and they would enter your banking information manually.

Then when The Internets came out I switched to online bill pay. Always used it.

I don't use bill pay through my bank, but I have all my bills set to send me invoices through email, when it's time to pay, I'll log into said bills website and pay it that way, or call and give my card number over the phone.

There's an app that I like called "Check". It's on iOS and droid. You can log in to it and have access to all My bills and it will give me a push notifitcation when a bill is due.

Yup, I paid bills online through my smartphone. When I needed to send a check, I used the banks bill pay on their website. I had my mail held at the post office.
