So for the past week there has been a Trans Am rig parked in the small shopping center right down the street from my house. It's actually the parking lot of a gym but rigs park there often to rest up. Anyway, this rig has been here for about 8 days. At first I though he was getting in his 34 hours to restart his 70 but now Im wondering if it's been abandoned or broke down. Would it normally take this long to get rolling again if broke down. I would think the company would have gotten someone out here by now. Abandoned maybe?? Just curious

Could be a disgruntled ex employee who decided to play games with them. Ditch the truck and let them deal with trying to find it. Or he just could be on vacation and the company didn't have a problem with him parking there. I highly doubt it's a mechanical issue. To much down time for a break down means money out the window.

Yeah, it's not mechanical. He either abandoned it or maybe he's a lease driver that only comes home a couple times a year for an extended stay. You could certainly call the company and let them know. They'll look into it.
