Hi Truckers, I just got a call from Kim to start on monday the 10th of June and I'm so ready to start my career as a truck driver.I have been thinking about driving a truck since 5yrs ago and i actually got into it 2weeks ago i initially picked prime inc to start with but after reading and doing more research, i ended up with Roehl Transportation.I'm very new to the trucking industry so i will appreciate any advice i can get and yes i do know that a great attitude and willingness to do nothing but your best is a great way to start.I will be leaving PA Saturday to get to the hotel on sunday by 2pm or 3.Let me throw this in if anybody needs a ride from the hotel to the school, just let me know no smokers please lol.I will do my best to update everybody on my progress at Roehl starting on monday. Thanks to Brett and his crew for this great website loaded with tons and tons of info.keep up the good work sir!

Congrats on the start to a new career. Keep us posted on your progress. I am relatively new to trucking and I am heading to Iowa at the end of June to go to TMC's orientation, so I enjoy reading updates from people that are in the same boat as me and just starting their careers out.

Nice job. Good choice going with Roehl. I am sure you will be happy. Keep us updated on how their training is structured. It'll be a lot harder than CDL school I can tell you that! lol.

  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.

Congratulations! Roehl is a really great place to get your start. We've seen several people go through Roehl's training and get their careers started there. We've always heard good things from those folks.

HOS:

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.
