Got a start date of April 20th at SRT in Texarcana. So ready to be on my way waiting on a few documents in the mail the off I go!

I have had some set backs I may not get to start april 20. I have 2 heart defects and my cardiologist is making me jump thru hoops to do all kinds of tests.

Finally got through all of the hoops and now I just have to get my permit and a new start date. Ill be driving soon!

Got my DOT medical clearance in my hand and tomorrow I get to take my permit test. Got some studying to do today.

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

Passed my permit test and waiting on my recruiter to call me back to get a start date.

Got my start date of may 11th pending a cancelation for the 4th. they have 2 spots that may be open for the 4th I am hoping for one of those spots will find out the end of today.

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.
