Yeah, they might have a little less value, at the moment?? Mecum's Auction, sold (last night rerun?) a Notchback nut and bolt resto'd for only $25k? Those are even harder to find than splitties shocked.pngwtf.gif Anyways this is Trucking, not VWs lol

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Yes, I know, but who doesn't love old air-cooled VW's? Gotta be a hater, that's for sure!

My daughters first car is going to be a 63 bug. Granted, there's nothing stock about the drive train and I'm going to be building a cage for it but it'll take all the boys lunch money when she's in high school.

Cool, I've had about every model year bug, from '55 to my current, '68. Got the "bug" flu in 1980, with a '65, which turned out to be a rust bucket. I had no clue, and got took on the deal, but from then on, I learnt all about em. My 68's got a built 1776, (stock trans), and wicked cam, sounds like a turbo when I wind it out. Dual carb's, which I just redid all fuel lines with copper for a different "look" It's been a lil ongoing project for 'bout 10 years now. And my first Bus, which is easier for my big butt to get in and out of. And get's way more attention, cruising, than my "custom" bug confused.gif
