I don't know of ANY ... talk about illegal, ("Did he just do what I think he did?? Man, THAT'S disgusting!!")

I don't know of any that use "hidden". There are some that are using dash cams inside but I couldn't tell you who they are and they're only set up to record remotely when logged in, nothing in the bunk area for privacy restrictions. I'd imagine it's a liabiLity issue as the record function is attached to some of the new crash avoidance systems for lane departure and such to make sure the driver isn't dozing off of messing around on their phone while driving.
Is there a list of truck companies that use hidden audio or video surveillance on their company drivers?
To be honest, if it were hidden we wouldn't know about it. If we knew about it, it wouldn't be hidden any longer. And I'm not being a smart*ss about it. I mean that.
But no, I am not aware of any companies using any hidden equipment, nor have I heard of any companies getting caught using hidden equipment.
Reminds me, working for Nissan forklift service, was told, our service vans had "hidden" black boxes, the boss could log online to check on us. I never bothered to look for it, 1 day he calls me into his office, when I went in for stock supplies. He says, "Oh, I see you were here at such n such a time, doing 85 mph in a 60 zone??" "Sorry boss, check the van number again!, Besides I was 150 miles to the south at that time" But he could check on us on his laptop from the shop lol
Cypress truck lines has cameras mounted recording the cab and the front/sides of the vehicle. (Lol the recruiter is here in class right now)
