I thought we had one of these threads already buy could not find it. Daniel's Russian friends probably deleted it. Well here goes...

You try to float the gears in your personal vehicle.

You never stop at a red light in your personal vehicle because you have been slow rolling it for the last quarter mile.

Reverse is in the wrong spot in your personal vehicle.

Just a few to get things going.

Float The Gears:

An expression used to describe someone who is shifting gears without using the clutch at all. Drivers are taught to "Double Clutch" or press and release the clutch twice for each gear shift. If you're floating gears it means you're simply shifting without using the clutch at all.

You descend a hill in your car and find yourself looking for the Jake button on the steering wheel.

Some halfwit cuts you off in your car, and you try reaching for the air horn.

You still find yourself wanting to pull into an open scalehouse in your car.

You get nervous on streets that say "no trucks" in your car.

You take both turn lanes in your personal vehicles.

Find yourself signaling even when there are no other vehicles around.

I like the one about rolling up on stop lights. That is so true.........

You only stop at truck stops on your way to the beach.

You try to swipe your rewards card at the gas pumps.

You reach for the CB mic when you see slow traffic.

....your heart start fluttering when you see a low bridge sign in your personal vehicle. Then you laugh, realizing you have nothing to worry about. Yet somehow you can't help but duck your head and look up as you're going under the bridge and come out the other side feeling relieved......and dumb.

If while in your car you conduct visual inspections of every rig you go by looking for violations.

Or is that playing "You might be a DOT officer" LOLrofl-3.gif

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

You get anxious and start hitting an imaginary brake when riding with your wife and she comes up on stop signs way too fast.
