I only stopped at Jones Auto & Truck Plaza, Lebanon, MO (I-44 exit 127) one time. Had breakfast at onsite Jones Family Diner. The ham steak meal was just awesome, and very economical. The place has been there since 1956.

Tiger truck stop in Louisiana would probably be better on an episode of Dives, Diners and drive in's but they serve some things not common in many places around the country such as alligator bacon and sausage. They also have some other exotic meats and pretty darn good breakfast choices. It's not the prettiest place but the money they make supports the employees and Tony the Tiger.

Food Network's cooking show Chopped will be featuring America's best rest stop restaurants on one of its upcoming shows. If you have a favorite truck stop restaurant, let us know! Suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Chopped, be sure to click the "Add To Favorites" on your topic so you can find this quickly later.

And don't forget, if and when you schedule the show, re-post the date so we can all get off our computers or stop our trucks and watch.
