I'm in my second week at Roehl and may I say it has been an AWESOME experience. Best decision I ever made and couldn't be more grateful for the abundance of knowledge that's being instilled in me for a successful career in trucking. My instructor's are awesome. Patient and VERY knowledgeable

Which location are you attending? I went through their program last October and had Dan and Dale in Marshfield. I agree they are very good at teaching student drivers even though the pace is so fast.

Chris,

Thanks for posting such a positive review of Roehl, so far.

I hope your positive attitude and outlook stays positive and that you have a rewarding career with Roehl.

When I looked into Roehl a few months ago, I learned that it wasn't recruiting in my area. Then, earlier this week, the Patriot News in Harrisburg, PA included a nearly full page ad from Roehl's recruitment department. The ad stated that Roehl was looking for people from the Lancaster, PA area who were interested in learning to drive tractor-trailer and to drive for Roehl afterward getting their CDL. Oh well... Sometimes my timing isn't the best :-)

Best of luck to you, though, Chris.

Be safe out there!

Steve

I talked to a Roehl recruiter yesterday. I have another phone interview set up for next week. I think they just took the top spot on my list from schneider... We'll see come Feb.

I am currently in phase 1 training at their Appleton location. Sitting in my hotel right now, they actually gave me a bonus for coming during the thanksgiving week. They have been great to me so far. Good instructors, 3 meals per day and they pay for my hotel room which is very nice.

I'm considering roehl myself, I'm from Georgia. Are their home time policies legit?
