Would this cause the company to kick me from their CDL training school?? Would they look at me like a Lier because the dates were not correct or are they looking just to see if employees actually worked for these companies in general & are not just trying to make something up or trying to fill in the gaps for the times they were not working at all? I dont want to go way outta state for training only to be sent back home at my own expense for something like this. Thanks!
Do your very best to get the dates right. As long as the "employment" is verifiable and the duration is close to matching, it shouldn't be an issue. They will check this before you attend school and will contact you if they have any questions. Since I was a consultant before trucking like you I too had numerous jobs before I attended Swift's Richmond Academy. They never questioned any of it. It's huge gaps and/or no recent employment that typically concerns them.

Good luck...Swift is a good choice. It's the one I made several years ago, and never once have I regretted it. And the money? It gets a whole lot better, once you get past year 1.
You know....about this whole employment verification....what about a stay at home mom who decides to go into the trucking industry? That's not a "verifiable employment"....
RV, just write the statement about being Stay At Home. Many people take that career route for several years, and there's no real verification.
Seriously, a note or two from your kids might be a nice touch, and that verifies your explanation.
So being a stay at home mom wouldn't disqualify you for obtaining a job at a big company such as Roehl, Prime, Schneider's, etc.?
Companies mostly look for people doing things. 2 years "unemployed" may count against you. But you know "Mom" is important work.
Just have a reasonable accounting of what you did for the last ten years. Names & phone numbers as needed, stuff like that.
Don't come off as lazy or a professional slacker, or have three or four jobs every year.

Have you decided on which company you will choose to work for after you graduate?
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
This is as much a Department of Homeland Security issue as it is employment and driving history. What you need is approximate months and years and you can let your potential employers know this is to the best of your knowledge. If you have any gaps of 30 days or more, you simply enter that as "employment gap" and explain you were seeking employment during those periods. They want to make sure you were not in some foreign outpost, learning terrorist tactics and then returning to the US to carry those "practices" out. They also want to be sure you're not omitting any prior CDL work that you're trying to cover up. WE know that's not what you're doing. They just need to verify. And with all of that, they're testing your honesty and reliability. Simply cover every month in the last ten years, (yes I know it's very tedious) with some explanation of what you were doing.
If you were in school for any period of time, include that as well.
For Stay-at-home parents, simply fill that in as your purpose. If an employer needs to verify that period of time, you can obtain a statement (possibly a sworn affidavit, if necessary) from schools and/or neighbors.
As a single parent, I have never needed to justify this in an application beyond including it in my timeline.
The bottom line is to be as clean and upfront in your recall as possible and have all months either covered with a job, school, parenting, or "gap, seeking employment," etc.
That's all you need to worry about.
