Dry van for now. And thanks Dan!

Dry Van:

A trailer or truck that that requires no special attention, such as refrigeration, that hauls regular palletted, boxed, or floor-loaded freight. The most common type of trailer in trucking.

Hey congrats! I was just looking through the forum and saw this. Looks like we got our trucks about the same time and got the same kind. Only difference is I'm running reefer. Since we're out of the same terminal , who knows, we may run into each other at some point! (Not literally, of course...)

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Reefer:

A refrigerated trailer.

Congratulations!

Most likely still a few months off for me. I haven't really been in all that big of hurry as yet, still trying out this being somewhat semi-retired thing. LOL!

Well Paul pm me if you're ever around the area. Does your truck have a camera or inverter installed?

And JJ take your time. This is one career where I would say you definitely want to have all of your ducks in a row before you start. This is not a job for someone who either has a mess of a personal life or who is jumping in too fast to actually learn the things being taught to them. Best of luck to you!
