According to Incident Commander Jerry Johnston, “the gentleman had a propane cookstove in the sleeper of his semi and there was a leak in the propane line. And I believe the occupant of the semi lit a cigarette and caused an explosion that blew the semi apart. And in turn caused the fire shortly thereafter.”

Great, now because of one person's stupidity, Walmart will probably ban truckers from parking in their lots!! You watch! Bet it happens, and then there will be even less places to park over night. Dumb, just dumb! wtf-2.gif

Someone a few weeks ago here in the forum was asking about cooking in the truck with a fuel-based stove and I had said it was a terrible idea. Now we have very hard, cold facts (or hot, explosive facts) to back that up.

Sure hope the driver is gonna be ok. "Burns to 90% of his body" sure is an appalling thought. Geesh.
