Talk to your recruiter. Most companies will reimburse for your fuel.

Ok not too worried about fuel, but I rode on a bus in the army, and I really don't want to ride on a bus now haha..

Drive your car to school. Keep fuel receipts and school should pay then for you.

During the weeks at school, you have wheels, most of the others don't. You'll make lots of friends.

Sometime between getting to school and getting into your own truck, figure out what to do with your car, since you now also have the truck.

You could leave it at the terminal , or get it home somehow.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Ya I can get it home my brother has a shop for fixing diesel trucks, he has access to car carrying companies so I can have him transport it home.

I was told by my recruiter that I was not allowed to drive due to lack of parking. Someone else drove and got reimbursed. Apparently the policy was changing and they no longer reimburse for fuel. Not sure about the parking....

I know some people who have flown in. It was much cheaper to fly into St louis and rent a car to Springfield than to fly into springfield
