Are you off that truck? Most companies will let you switch trainers. What company allows drivers to have guns in their trucks? Good luck.

I'm dying to know what school you went to. Sounds just like my trainer in MO...

Driving down back woods roads? Check.

Carried a gun? Check.

Rough and tough and always said not to farm with his trailer and pick a lane and don't stall the engine? Check.

haha! Glad to see im not alone on the crazy trucker front chickie monster, I had one guy that trained us for half the week and another guy who trained us the other half of the week and the guy at the beginning of the week was cool as hell but he just started training so the second half of the week the other guy would show up to train at ten o clock and was ****ed off as soon as he got their wouldn't let the students in the back talk and every time you grinded gears he'd start screaming mouther ****er! If you **** up this truck your the one paying for it which freaked me out cause I was working at furniture store before this so I couldn't afford that and it got worse when I'd make a turn he would start yelling swing that ****er wide ******* then I'd start yelling back and he'd open his jacket and show me his gun and ask if I wanted more motivation to listen, and I'd stop and get out but then he'd buy me a soda afterward lol like it was all good I put up with that for a month and got my cdl but have been a little gun shy to head out with a trainer and I got my license back in April and I want to drive but can't live with a guy like that

Holy Cow!! It sounds like you and Chickie went to the Backwoods Deliverance Hilbilly School of Truck Driving. shocked.pngrofl-3.gif

After that Guy, I think any Trainer you end up with will seem like Mother Theresa. Get out there and finish up your training. It will be over before you know it and you can get on with your career!
