The above was captured by using the search function...upper left. I don't get paid for this (and I'm on break) so next time, you're on your own. sorry.gif

...the insight I can provide you is; if Senn operates in the mountains, when they road train you they will emphasize safe and efficient operation through mountain passes. Most of the large and medium sized carriers have mountain routes. You'll get your chance with any of them to learn mountain driving skills. We can throw all kinds of words at you that frankly, until you have experienced it first hand, might not help.

In short, today's trucks and trailers are designed to handle the rigors of mountain driving. Proper use of the service and engine brake in combination, will provide ample control over your truck when descending steep grades. Watch your signage, you will be warned in advance of grades requiring a heightened level of attention; how long and how steep. It's all about managing speed.

Try not to sweat this...you will be taught how to get through a pass safely.

Why do you think I rarely show up here? Brett couldn't afford my brilliant, top-notch advice.

I shouldn't have said that...was definitely kidding. I was trying to point out to our new poster several times how to do the search and got a bit snarky.
