Turtle beat me to it!
I
spoke to my Compliance Manager, and he told me that I would need a tanker endorsement for any load over 1,000 gallons. However, my HAZMAT endorsement should cover the bulk liquid HAZMAT load.
Something to note, from earlier in the discussion (which might be somewhat confusing).
A Hazmat Endorsement DOES NOT EQUAL a tanker endorsement. They are two separate endorsements, and you can have one, without the other.
A plain Tanker will be an N endorsement. A plain Hazmat will be an H endorsement. Having BOTH, will be an X endorsement.
I have PTX on my CDL. Passengers/Doubles-Triples/Hazmat/Tanker

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
Explosive, flammable, poisonous or otherwise potentially dangerous cargo. Large amounts of especially hazardous cargo are required to be placarded under HAZMAT regulations
Refers to pulling two trailers at the same time, otherwise known as "pups" or "pup trailers" because they're only about 28 feet long. However there are some states that allow doubles that are each 48 feet in length.

Welcome, Scott. You only need to take the tanker endorsement once. It's yours from then on.
