Your options will depend on when you got the speeding tickets and how much over the limit you were going.
Depending on when and what the tickets are can make a difference. There are many other companies. Look here Paid CDL Training Programs and here Trucking Company Reviews. And if you haven't seen these, look at them.

Welcome to the forum Wesley.
Calling is a good way to receive initial information. If you want them to seriously consider you as a candidate, it's recommended that you submit an application through Swift' and TMC' website. Doesn't hurt to apply at Roehl as well. Have multiple options.
Once you have taken that step, and are in their systems, you can expect better follow-up.
Drive safe and good luck.

It's quite common, especially for men, to fall into the "overweight" category if you happen to be stronger than average. If you're pretty strong but in good shape then pay no attention.
Yap, you definitely want to submit an application like G-Town said. Most recruiters won't spend much time talking with you (if any at all) if you haven't submitted one. Unfortunately the reality is that there are a ton of people who are somewhat interested or curious about trucking and will sit on the phone all day if you let them. The recruiters get paid to bring drivers into the company. They can't afford to talk all day about it. So they try to focus on people who have submitted applications and are ready to go.
By the way, we can afford to sit around and talk about trucking all day so give us all the questions you may have. That's what we do.

DOT:
Department Of Transportation
A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.
State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.
TWIC:
Transportation Worker Identification Credential
Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.
Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.
