Holy cow, I thought you were joking, but it has a shower and toilet: http://www.legacysleepers.com/2016-Western-Star-5700XE-with-32-Inch-Factory-Bunk-and-132-Inch-ARI-Legacy-II-RDFS-Sleeper---1452

I think my whole tractor could fit in the sleeper.

Lol Kurt, yes they exist and the sleeper costs as much as a truck, so yeah that's a dream item for sure.

Look around at sleepers on the trucks and you will see them out there. They often have a back door and most of them I've personally seen are O/O trucks used by cross country household goods movers. They are absolutely stunning inside.

Sue, not to throw a monkey wrench into your dream, but all of your future shipper/receivers will have to have a LOT of room for backing up. Imagine the turn radius of that rig.

I have far less grandiose aspirations. I just want a nice CB setup with speaker and noise canceling mic.

The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.

I'm with Patrick. The wheelbase on that thing is YUGE. Most companies (except heavy haulers) will not lease you on with that tractor, due to the wheelbase and THE WEIGHT of the rig. Can't put 40K in the box, if the rig weighs 3-4K more than a "regular sleeper" rig.

They don't weigh as much as you think. That's on a W9 with 132" legacy and it comes in full weight under 26k. Add 14 for the trailer and you can still put 40 in the box. As to the wheelbase, it can be a pain but it's like anything else once you get used to it. In regards to who you can lease on with, Landstar, Mercer, Schneider, Reliable, PTL, Celadon, and many many more so the options aren't all that limited either.
