Hey as long as you aren't sleeping in a pine box your good to go
Paul, when you measure your heartbeat, do you get 70-80 beats per minute, or do you get 950 rpm at idle?

Congrats Paul. You are officially a real trucker. I used to be bothered when my dad would visit and within 2 days he'd be headed back out when I knew he had more time. Over the years I simply accepted it and figured he was off to see one of his (many) lady friends. Yep he was quite the ladies man.

Haha thanks. It's just difficult to adjust to normal life after you've lived on the road for almost a year.
I completely understand. I feel more "at home" in my truck than I do at home. Don't get ne wrong as I love and miss my family, I just spend so much time in a moving semi it's what I'm used to.
You know I didn't comment here cause it was just too easy to come up with some smart @$$ reply
Rainy being a sarcastic smart @$$. Never would have thought it possible, lol.

I sleep like a baby in my sleeper but not in a normal bed. Even if I sleep most of the night, I don't feel rested when I wake up. Trucking has also changed how much I can tolerate my family. I love my family and have been really excited to get to see them more, but after two days at my parents' house (since I'm still homeless st the moment) I was exhausted and had to get back to my truck so I could get some alone time and a good night's rest. I don't like being gone for weeks or months at a time, but I have gotten accustomed to spending alot of time alone and sleeping in a box.
