Got a load picking up in texas headed to keasbey, NJ. I've heard bad things about NJ, is there anything I need to be aware of on this trip?

Yes if you go off the interstate , down load there truck map it shows you the roads you are allowed on and what is prohibited. My GPS is not that smart. There are lots of left hand turns that are made from the right lane, via a funky kind of round about. Just use your head and eyes and you will do fine.

Interstate:

Commercial trade, business, movement of goods or money, or transportation from one state to another, regulated by the Federal Department Of Transportation (DOT).

It's in the North, near Perth Amboy. Keasbey is off of I-287, on NJ RT 440. I have delivered to several WM stores in that area. It's congested, won't kid you about that. Mostly highway up to the town itself.

Do a thorough job of trip planning. Take you time, you will be okay. I'd also suggest checking the address on Google Maps to get an overhead look at the place. Preparation is important.

Just be careful. Try to avoid rush hour if you can.

Good luck!

Sorry, Texas. That will make it a bit easier, coming from the SW.

Looks easy enough according to Google maps. 440 to Smith st, turn right on riverside, then left into the warehouse, just at a glance.

The routes are easy but parking is horrendous. Very few truck stops. :( if at all possible try to plan to park during the day. At 4pm the service plazas and few truck stops are filled.

Since you are coming from the south, Petro in Bordentown exit 7 off the NJ turnpike is probably one of the largest. Its one of those gated places though.

And if you get lost DO NOT drive the GARDEN STATE PARKWAY... Its truck restricted for clearances. It will be marked but I've heard people getting lost and not reading signs due to maniac drivers distracting them.

Good luck
