Hello to all,

I just received a call from CFI, I was accepted into school. I'm excited about this opportunity. They have fully considered my past felony and are giving me a shot. After being turned away from 10 different CDL training companies, CFI is giving me a chance. I'm headed out to Missouri in late June to start school.

A big thank you to Brett for creating this site and the High Road CDL series. Also, to all of you that kept me moving straight and true with all of your knowledge and advise. I have only just begun.

I will enter school with a good attitude, ready to study hard and learn. Looks like I'll be entering the rookie ranks very soon. I'm up for the challenge. After 11 years in the box, I can do this.

Be well out there,

Lance

Crowder is in or near Joplin. Truck Dynasty is in Springfield. My last day of school will be May 19th. The following Monday, I will start orientation. Do you know what date you are scheduled to start?

I'm set for June 22. Also a 32 hour Greyhound to Missouri from NJ. Going to be a long trip, but worth it.

June 22nd is a long way off. Greyhound tips. They have outlets to plug your chargers into on the busses. You will want a backpack or something for a carry on. If your main duffle bag does not have wheels, buy a foldable luggage cart. It will make life easier. The hotel in Joplin has an indoor pool and whirlpool. If you like to swim, you may be able to get in the first night. The greyhound is a long trip. I hated it. Check my profile tonight.
