Well TT, today is the day I come out on top, I took my CDL-A Road test today and I passed, I go back tomorrow and take the school side of the tests and stuff and hopefully by next week I'll be at orientation. I hope to meet some of you out on the road!!

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Yeah, Surprisingly, I did it. with a good heaping helping of help from TT and everyone on the site. ^^

Congrats John! I hope its great, I just got off the mentors truck and passed my written and driving test and now just waiting for my truck to be assigned to me! So hang in there it definitely is worth it!
