I will be in tomorrow late. Had to repower a load to Miami then pick up a load in Auburndale. What a nightmare this repower is. I tell you about it when I get in.
My Qualcomm bit the dust so unless a dealer can fix it, I'm going to try to get there tomorrow.
Qualcomm:
Omnitracs (a.k.a. Qualcomm) is a satellite-based messaging system with built-in GPS capabilities built by Qualcomm. It has a small computer screen and keyboard and is tied into the truck’s computer. It allows trucking companies to track where the driver is at, monitor the truck, and send and receive messages with the driver – similar to email.

I just got to Springfield. We are in the inbound bay. Will be here fir about 4 hours.
I have been here since about 1130 today. Have inspected my new truck, they still have a couple of things to finish up. Should be completed by Thursday sometime.
Was hoping to get out of the terminal by then, but it is what it is.

Terminal:
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
We just missed you. We left around noon.
Just had a wonderful meal with Ernie, shared war stories had a couple adult beverages and saw the pictures of his new big boy toy (peterbuilt). What a hoot!

I will be heading back to Prime today after taking my 4 week vacation.
Who is going to be there tomorrow? I will be at the terminal signing the papers for my new 579 Peterbilt. Hope to be heading out no later than Thursday sometime.
