I know this isn't helpful or on subject, but I spent way too many years in aviation. I see ATC and I think Air Traffic Control. Automated Traction Control didn't dawn on me until I was reading thru your post.

We have a weekly safety meeting that has the reps of different vendors show up. I wound up asking them and they were deeply interested. So now I sit at FL dealer.
If I remember right, my automatic FL started doing that before the transmission went out.
Ooohhhh great!! Thanks lol

Would you like some good news?
I'd love good news. I would have loved them saying it was a loose wire. But nooo...they don't know what it is. It's a phantom light. Lol
But the FL foreman was awesome and I'll write to FL to give him props.
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

Please pass me your wisdom cause I'm annoyed and stumped.
Two weeks ago the solid ATC light came on and stayed on for over 1000 miles. Hitting the switch didn't turn it off. Then it went off. Again, it came on for another long load, then off again. The truck isn't throwing codes so the mechanics don't know what to do. They changed the panel switch hoping it was a short, but it continued.
I did notice on the heavier loads through NC and KY hills it stayed on, but went off during the lighter loads in OK and TX on flat land. This led me to believe it might have to do with the leveler or some other component that would get stressed under heavy loads and hills.
What do you think?
