It's very easy to lock up the brakes on those trailers when empty. By folding them up and travelling that way when empty it saves you from tearing up your tires.

I was just wondering why log truck operators stack their back trailers onto the deck of the trucks? What do they gain from doing this? any help would be much appreciated! :)
