Kevin shares the good news!

Thank you all. I did call them a few hours ago and my recruiter was not available. I spoke to another who told me the problem was my license is suspended. I told her it was not and my original recruiter ran a new mvr last week proving this. She said she would call me back. A while later my regular recruiter called me back and told me i was approved by the hiring committee. I scheduled orientation for feb.

Excellent news. Persistence overcome resistance...congratulations!

MVR:

Motor Vehicle Record

An MVR is a report of your driving history, as reported from your state Department of Motor Vehicles. Information on this report may include Drivers License information, point history, violations, convictions, and license status on your driving record.

Way to go Kevin!! Looking forward to reading your diary (if you plan to write one).

Thanks, I do plan on doing a diary as long as it does not violate any company policies. It seems to me there are some things you don't find out about until after you get orientation approval. I see the diary as part of the paying back for all the wonderful things I have read and learned on this site. I think this job will turn out to be quite a challenging chapter in my life and want to share it with everyone I can.
