What made you switch over to teaching?

I was a middle school teacher before I started driving truck. I'd rather use those teaching skills. Also the Academy Teachers do a M-F/6am-4pm work week. Oh yeah: there's a decent raise.

Finally, as some have hinted at, I have some real ideas that might change how trucking is taught. (F'rinstance, the school director had never thought of having students pull a broom by it's handle around the room and not touch anything, like driving around a truck stop with a trailer.)
