Hello I'm new to all of this been trying to research as much as possible. I start CDL school August 6th. at a local community college. I went through a program thru the local Career Center that pays for training in certain careers. I'm totally nervous making this leap later in life and I know nothing about driving trucks. Any advice on everything ? What to expect, what's needed after school etc.. Thank you!

Sandy, from everything I’ve read on here, it will all click. You are just starting your third day so...breathe! 😁

I’m getting there. I’m set to head out on Greyhound on Saturday night, the 17th, with orientation starting on the 20th. So nervous! Trying to get everything together, going through the PTI index cards I made, getting things squared away at my current job, etc. It will be here before I know it.

Good luck and keep us up to date on how it’s going.
