Wolding official policy is no use of any communication device while driving. No phone even with hands free, no QC (it is locked out while vehicle is in motion), I guess technically you could add CB to that list as well. If you were to get in an accident and be found to be using something, you might as well buy yourself a bus ticket home.
Schneider has a zero tolerance for cell phone use while driving, including hands free and CBs, etc. If you're found using one, you'll be terminated. According to someone here at my home OC, your job would be at risk even if you was to use your cell phone in your own personal car.
CFI says hands free only. A ticket for using a device while driving is grounds for dismissal. They recommend using voice dialing with the one button on your headset. They also say to make sure it is secure before you start driving. These tickets go against the company as well as the driver.

What’s your companies policy on phone use while driving? Just curious of the different policies as far as what’s allowed. Anybody have a one and done etc with hand held.
