Yep, I totally got fooled on this one. Great catch Patrick! I honestly thought the loose wire hanging was an indication that the ABS warning light had been unplugged. I come across this fairly often when pre-tripping a trailer.
I'll blame it on my recent eye surgery... that sounds legit!
I think you need to switch eyes on your pirate patch, lol. I think you may be covering your good eye.
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

At least this thread is entertaining! Big Scott-I know this was supposed to be an educational moment. And it was, had many of trailers when I first started with AG hauling where marker lights would be missing or just holding on by the wires themselves. Either the previous driver broke it or the AG distributors would brake them off. Either way it wasn't uncommon.
