Today I am at the DMV to take my permit test. Awesome part is I passed + tanker! Annoying part is right after I finished their system crashed so I'm sitting here enjoying my last day home at the DMV..

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

DMV:

Department of Motor Vehicles, Bureau of Motor Vehicles

The state agency that handles everything related to your driver's licences, including testing, issuance, transfers, and revocation.

One of the common denominators for this job we all encounter is waiting. It’s a sign of things to come...

No kidding! Get used to waiting for seemingly no reason A LOT! In traffic, getting loaded, sitting in line at the Blue Beacon, behind the truck at the fuel island, for road service to show up with a new trailer tire, etc. It could be worse.

I bet! Waited two hours, was told the system wouldn't be back up by end of the day. Gotta pick it up later today.

I am almost positive I was kept waiting purposely during orientation just to see how I handled it

Lol, possibly, because companies actually do that kind of stuff.

Argument could be made that Prime’s motto equates to “Hurry up and wait”. You’ll find out soon enough.
