As of an hour or so ago Errol was 76 miles from me and JoAnne was 159. I'm stuck at a truck stop off of I 84, exit 182. To much black ice. My drives were not getting any traction. Lot of snow also. So lucky our pick up isn't until tomorrow. So in the morning just drive the 10 miles to drop this one off and pick up the other and head for Loredo, Tx.

Yes, is great to track others on the TT Tracker App.

So you're not getting farther north? I hope I can get over Snoqualmie tomorrow. I did get caught on I-90 in the blizzard Friday. 2 hours sitting on the snow covered freeway watching snow fly by horizontally until a grader showed up plowing a lane through the white powder.

Yesterday I had go I 5 through California heading to Oregon. Traveled US 97 to I 84 east and then got shutdown because of black ice. The plowers were doing a horrible job. US 97 was better than I 84. I was only 10 or so miles down the road from my drop. Had just passed two jackknifed rigs and a pickup truck roll over. So weigh laid at the Space age on exit 182. Still waiting for the sun to wake its a** up, to see how the roads are going to be. Good luck Errol on your trek, and keep the rules ber side down.

Not so much. My exit from Yakima is I-90 to Seattle. Snoqualmie Pass is closed till noon at least. Just hangin' in Smittie's Cafe.

Yes, waiting is an important part of a trucker's life.

The tracker app has me in Seattle and while I'd love to be there right now, I am actually just SW of Portland, OR. Weird!!

Heading that direction today. In Wells, NV. Leaving in about an Hour towards Kent, WA. Hoping to make it as far as the Wildhorse Casino in Pendleton, OR today. Weather looks good to get me that far. I'll see what the future holds to get me the rest of the day tomorrow. I was going to try to stop in Boise and see Todd on the way, but I'm not going to have the time.

LOL I tried about 11 times and it kept me in Seattle! Must be a sign (I do love Seattle!) Anyway... I'll be right here SW of Portland for the next 3 years!

Raptor, if you ever make it to Troutdale, that's the closest big truck stop I know of to me. I'll buy ya lunch! =)

Swift has a Terminal in Troutdale.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
