I got trucker path, thought I'd ask for any ideas....
I use TP for most of my parking. Though the reviews are not moderated (Stupid stuff gets in there, but you can figure that out). Be sure to check for non-chain truck stops, they often have spots. Use the Satellite View to look for trucks at Walmarts - be sure to verify you can do a 10 there.
Another app I'm starting to use is DAT Trucker. It's aimed at O/Os, but the list of parking spots can work for you.

If you really need to park in the late night to early morning hours when many are packed full, Paid parking at the big chains is always an option. I did it last week. Knew I would be parking in the middle of the night dead tired. Reserved it online with my credit card. $17.00 was a bargain for me. Pulled in at the pumps, went inside, got my spot, backed in. DONE. It is only the second time I have done it, but it can be worth it's weight in gold.
I've paid for quite a few spots, its less stressful when I'm rolling in late at night where it'll be a big gamble being low on hours and hoping for a free spot.
Several truck stops within 20 miles. No overnight parking there on a Friday night?
