You got this! I'm on my second week with a mentor at swift. This was a total change of life for me, and I dont regret it one bit. You will love it.

Thank you guys. Just a brief update. First day of class was long and very interesting. We coved the pre-trip and ton of other stuff. Also met up with Million Miler 24 yesterday. Hi even took me out for lunch. Now that I'm settling in things look good. Thanks for all the moral support. More later.

It was definitely legendary great to have met ya. 😜 Hopefully after you put in the request they will let me be your lead driver. 😜

I hear that. My favorite is the train.

Same here. I always love the train. Amtrak is king however their food prices are too darn high. 😜

In St Cloud getting loaded, and waved at your exit on 94 towards the south as I went by Doug. Hope all is well and you are soaking it in as fast as you can. Will be coming through Cedar Rapids in the morning will wave again.

I waved as you went by! Good news...passed the Pre-Trip Inspection exam this morning. I start backing practice this afternoon.

Pre-trip Inspection:

A pre-trip inspection is a thorough inspection of the truck completed before driving for the first time each day.

Federal and state laws require that drivers inspect their vehicles. Federal and state inspectors also may inspect your vehicles. If they judge a vehicle to be unsafe, they will put it “out of service” until it is repaired.

Okay... passed the Pre-trip with an "A" but...now comes backing up. The Alley dock is the hardest. I've tested on three times now and failed. I am getting used to it but it's taking more time than I would like. But the again I only started working on backing up on Wednesday. By the way it was 86 here yesterday and cold and rainy here today.
