Sorry that one door closed, but you still have lots more options and opportunities Doug. Good luck.

I've been home a few days now. I'm going to carefully research my options. Thank you all for the support.

Sorry to hear about your release Doug. Are you required to pay CRST for any of the schooling?

Good luck. Hope it works out for you.

At this point it's unclear if I will have to pay. My recruiter told me he didn't think I would have to pay. We were required to sign an agreement on the first day of school. But the contract isn't signed until a person passes orientation and hired by the company. That's my understanding right now. I need to know before I make any other plans.

Hopefully it turns out in your favor. If so, your options are far greater.

Best of luck.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Thanks guys. I am sending a letter to CRST asking for a explanation of why I was dismissed when I was improving. Also I'm looking at the Jim Palmer school, and a few others.

I know talking to a Jim Palmer recruiter, Logan has been very nice and professional to me. Good Luck.
