Seeing new Endocrinologist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN Friday 11/1. Physical strength and DOT drug tests scheduled for Monday 11/4. Training @ Veriha in Marinette, WI planned for 11/11.
So today I get an email from PAM Transport about the application sent about a month ago. Couple of non-working numbers and good searching got me to leaving a VM message in the right area.
Had a conversation with a recruiter from USA Trucking. Last month they weren't hiring from my area. Now they are!
She asked me to fill out an application via a link, but DriverPulse (10 Street) was acting up until app updated. By then she apparently found my app, said it looked great and asked when I wanted to start!
Go figure!
Nice to be wanted again!
DOT:
Department Of Transportation

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.
Just picked up from the ConAgra / Ryder facility in Milton Pennsylvania. On North Industrial Park Road I passed a Veriha yard and thought of you Marc. I'm sure you're going to be here one of these days. Just a heads up the Flying J in Milton is nasty as hell. I've eaten at the restaurant before it was horrible... settled for the subway tonight. Wasn't half bad... at least you can see what they're putting on your sandwich...
