I was set to spend Thanksgiving away from my friends and family this year, when this morning another trucker buddy called me just to chat. I asked him where was they(team drivers) was at today to make small talk and he told me he was heading west on i70 outside of Columbus, Ohio, I thought what are the odds? I'm heading east on i70 for Columbus ohio... to make a long story short, we ended up stopping at a Denny's for breakfast, and I got to meet his team driver as well. It was pretty refreshing, and highly appreciated since it was nice to see someone I actually knew instead of strangers.

It was short lived since we both had to head out and didnt have time to talk for to long, but I thought to myself what are the odds? Since we don't talk everyday.

Forgot to mention, this wouldnt have happened if I didn't take my 10 hour break when I did before I picked this load up. Currently still driving the recovery truck I picked up, will be getting my truck back in two days. Its finally out of the shop.

One day heading down to Charlotte I called my Dad. He asked where I was and I said about an hour north of Charlotte. Turns out he was heading to West Virginia with a bud and was just heading thru Charlotte from Orlando. Ended up meeting him about 30 mins after calling at a truck stop :)
