Hello, I'll be delivering in Virginia tomorrow, who has a good Christmas dinner anywhere near the Wytheville area? I'm guessing probably Golden Corral or Iron Skillet should be open anyone know and who has a GOOD dinner rather than just dinner?

The TA has a Country Pride, while the Flying Hook has a Denny's.

I am going to bet any local fare restaurant will be closed on Christmas day.

There’s a Cracker Barrel in Wytheville.

Sorry, Cracker Barrel was terrible advice; I drove past three today and they were all closed.

Yeah, I passed by yesterday and saw them closed. My reciever was also closed. I ended up parking at flying J and making instapot spagetti since Dennys turkey meal didnt look to good. Its 08:30 now, I went back to the reciever at 07:30 this morning and surprise surprise they wont have anyone there who can unload me till 17:00 or so. I'm back at flying J with a giant hole in todays production. Suckola.

jeez that sucks! I'm having the opposite experience, we were short 14 drivers today so I volunteered to take a 2 stop run to Olathe KS with a backhaul. Last time I did this pickup it was a 15 1/2 hour day because I sat for 4 hours. Pulled in at 630, they showed up at 7 and I was only truck here. It's just after 730 and I'm waiting on paperwork now. Being hourly I dont mind waiting on a load (to a point) but it never happens when I WANT it to take forever. I didnt get my nap like I hoped 😭
