Way back when "Grumpy Old Man" was in here researching his new trucking career he introduced us to a great new trucking song and video. It's still one of my favorite trucking videos. Here's a link to that conversation. Be sure and click on the video - it's worth listening to.

Good lyrics but Haggard or Jones would have really done it justice.

I know that "Roll me Away" is one of Brett's favorites.

Here's my wife's new ringtone:

Jason Aldean Asphalt Cowboy

Here is another traveling song by Jason Aldean:

Fly Over States Jason Aldean

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

Jason Aldean drove a Pepsi truck before he made it in the music industry.

For fun, search famous people who were truck drivers before they were famous - it's a huge and interesting list!
