Get a "stick" style. The truck stop will have the correct range (goes up to 150 psi). Also, the end will have two valve fittings. Ge tthe one witht eh fittings "bent" to each other. The "straight" fittings seem to be hard to push onto the tire.
When you say "cooler" are you thinking of a picnic cooler for ice or a 12voild\t one? I had a Coleman 12v cooler from Walmart. The cooler worked but the fan kept stopping. I finally got a supply of fuses to replace. I don't know the quality of the 12 volt coolers at truck stops, but they re there!
Thank you.... 12 volt cooler for sure

I use a Coleman 12V cooler. I've had four so far since these don't last forever. Keeps everything cold when in use. I tie mine in the passenger seat, around the seat back with parachute cord. It's never come out of the seat.
Shop around for when these go on sale, as I've seen prices from $89 - $139. Don't waste points unnecessarily.
Thank you..

I had a Coleman 12v, lasted 8 months with 2 cords. I replaced it with an Igloo both are 40 quart. Igloo runs a little more $ than the Coleman but after the Coleman's original wiring failed and the factory replacement melted the entire piece that plugs in I figured I'd give the Igloo a try. Bought both at truckstops. Check all the major stops sales circular or whichever you have points at for sales.
Re: the Coleman 12v cooler, I’m a big fan (I’ve had two). However, I recommend ordering one from WalMart. May need to utilize the ‘ship-to-store’ feature. They’re much cheaper than purchasing from the Pilot/Flying J. Also, the cooler I got from Walmart came with an adapter that allowed me to plug it into a wall outlet. The cooler from Pilot did not, and it doesn’t work with the adapter that came with the Walmart model, even though they appear to be the same. Weird, but whatever. Final tip: buy a large filter from Walmart or hardware store, and cut it into pieces that will fit over the intake vents on the cooler. It drastically cuts down on all the dust/hair/dirt that collects inside that vent. Just duct tape the filter over the vent.
Sharon. Pete has a good idea. Get a 12v cooler from Walmart. Use your points to get a cellphone headset (either the ones that hang on your ear or the kind that has only one earpiece) at the truck stop. The good ones cost about as much as a cooler and will make life in the driver seat more comfortable.

My points are building up at the pilot / flying j... Would like to purchase a tire gauge and a cooler..any suggestions...there are many different tire gauges to choose from and honestly I'm not sure where to begin
